The Place: Tiki
Bar México: A Newcomer to the Annual Mexican Drink-A-Thon!
The Experience: The Tiki craze has officially arrived in Mexico City. The Tiki Bar México is a place where the end of the Guadalupe Reyes Marathon comes full circle with one thing … booze, booze, booze in large, at times behemoth fruity Pacific Island inspired drinks.
The Gringo G ended the night literally drinking a Hurricane from
an enormous flower vase used as a glass. What a place for drinks fun and
fingerfood … what a Guadalupe Reyes Drink-A-Thon it was!
The Location: Calle Querétaro
227, Colonia Roma Norte, DF.
Chilling Tiki Style
The Specials: All of the Tiki drinks are well executed
and fruity and boozy just like they should be … the spring rolls were quite
nice as an appetizer to accompany the drinks. The Hurricane (El
Huracán in Spanish) was an excellent drink option and by far the crowd favorite
on Gringo G’s visit!
Giant Tiki Flower Vase Group Drink
Nice Green Concoction
The Hurricane ... The Hit of the Night

… Gringo G literally had a large flower vase full of a Tiki concoction to enjoy
amongst friends … also on Fridays and Saturdays there is a Happy Hour from 5pm
