The Experience: The Tiki craze has officially arrived in Mexico City. The Tiki Bar México is a place where the end of the Guadalupe Reyes Marathon comes full circle with one thing … booze, booze, booze in large, at times behemoth fruity Pacific Island inspired drinks.

The Gringo G ended the night literally drinking a Hurricane from an enormous flower vase used as a glass. What a place for drinks fun and fingerfood … what a Guadalupe Reyes Drink-A-Thon it was!

Chilling Tiki Style

The Specials: All of the Tiki drinks are well executed and fruity and boozy just like they should be … the spring rolls were quite nice as an appetizer to accompany the drinks. The Hurricane (El Huracán in Spanish) was an excellent drink option and by far the crowd favorite on Gringo G’s visit!

Tips: Order the group drinks … Gringo G literally had a large flower vase full of a Tiki concoction to enjoy amongst friends … also on Fridays and Saturdays there is a Happy Hour from 5pm to 9pm with all individual Tiki drinks on offer for 50 pesos.

La experiencia: La locura por los cocteles Tiki  ha llegado a la Ciudad de México. E Tiki Bar México es un lugar para cruzar con honor la meta del maratón Guadalupe Reyes con alcohol, alcohol y más alcohol con bebidas frutales inspiradas en las islas del pacífico.

Gringo G terminó la noche tomando un Huracán de un enorme vaso que sospechosamente se parecía más a un florero. Gran lugar para bebidas, música y botanas, gran maratón Guadalupe Reyes 2014.

Platillos especiales: 

Todas las bebidas Tiki están bien ejecutadas y tienen sabor frutal y alcoholizado... como deberían. Los rollos primavera fueron bastante ad hoc para acompañar las bebidas. El Huracán fue una de las opciones más socorridas en la mesa de Gringo G y a nadie decepcionó.

Tips: Vale la pena ordenar las bebidas para compartir. Gringo G nunca había tomado el equivalente a un florero de brebaje Tiki en un ambiente tan bueno y en compañía de amigos. Los viernes y los sábados hay hora feliz, de las 5 a las 9pm, en la que puedes comprar bebidas individuales por 50 pesos.
